Looking back!

Today I was looking at some old photos of Hayley on the computer. I found myself looking at slideshow of her for about 30 min despite the many things I have on my "TO DO" list. I was captivated by how much she has grown and changed. I have always thought she was beautiful from the first time I laid eyes on her, but wow...is she a cutie!! Guess I am bias, but she is the most beautiful child I have ever seen! She has such personality now. While I know she is her own person, it is humbling to see some of the traits she has no doubt inherited from me. She is not the most patient person in the world, and probably never will be. She gets frustrated easily when things dont go her way the first time, but she is sweet and loving and happy. It is very surreal to see your self in another human being, and makes that of GOD's work seem even more spectacular to me. Once again, I have to tell you have very blessed I am to have the opportunity to experience motherhood, especially to this sweet girl. I have a feeling that the both of us are going to learn a lot...together. I am excited about journey! Here is one of my favorite pics and memories!!

PUPPY LOVE

The other day Hayley spotted our neighbors two new puppies! One is a mini Australian Sheppard and the other is a welsh corgi. Their names are Lucy and Peaches!! They are both really cute and sweet! They were just as interested in Hayley as she was them. Here are a couple of pictures from that day.

Uncle Bob's Pumpkin Patch and The Dawgs!

Yesterday Mark and I were able to go to the UGA vs. UT game in Athens! It was a fall day with a great breeze..even a little on the chilly side. The game was a little slow but the Dawgs pulled it off with a win over Tennessee. Mark and I left in the third quarter b/c he wasnt feeling well (sore throat), but all in all we had a good day.

Hayley spent the day/night with my parents and they took her to Uncle Bob's Pumpkin Patch!! A little on the "Deliverence" side of things but they had a good time. Hayley loved the hayride, and the BIG tires! Mom and Dad said that she was a good girl and even waved to everyone!! She got her first pumpkin (just her size). She is quite the charmer and loves to be around people!! They got some great photos but they are all on my dads camera! Maybe I can get some uploaded soon!!

NEW TOOTH!

Well all of those sleepless nights (2 weeks worth) have paid off! Hayley has her second tooth (on the bottom). Putting your finger in her mouth isnt quite as much fun as it once was! She has teeth and she knows how to use them! She has become a HUGE fan of Cheerios! Loves them! Would eat a hundred of them if I let her! She also had some green beans and lima beans on Sunday! She loved them too! I dont think there is a thing that this child will not eat! At least until she learns what her daddy wont eat!!! However, if she baulks on cheese I dont know what I will do!!! I cant have two people in this house disliking cheese!! That is just unamerican!! Hayley is getting ready for Halloween. She has her PJS and bib, her costume, and her pumpkin for collecting goodies. I decided to get some use out of the PJ's for the month!! She looks so cute in them!

Yesterday was also a big day for Hayley! Grams bought her her first Christmas dress! It is adorable. It is red corduroy with a white bib-like collar that I am going to have monogrammed. She also got her first pair of pattened leather shoes (My personal fav). I have always wanted a little girl to dress up and to wear pat. leather shoes!!

NEW ADVENTURES!!!

Hayley has made a lot of progress crawling! She can really go now!! You cant turn your head for a second before she is out of sight! She is really exploring the house! She is facinated with the hardwood floors! After a while though she wants you to pick her up, because I think it hurts her poor little knees! She likes the sound of them when she bangs her palm on them!! She just giggles! She is also really looking to Mark and I for approval on everything she does! She will touch something and then wait for one of us to say "no, no"! It is too funny!

The weather here has been gorgeous and Hayley and I have taken full advantage of it by going for walks every day! Wehad all intentions of feeding the ducks by the lake, but the ducks werent there, so I decided to take her to the playground and put her in a swing to see what she thought....Well she just loved it! She just giggled and giggled! After she had enough of the baby swing, I sat on a big swing and sat her in my lap! I think that made her feel more secure, and it also brought back so many childhood memories! I used to love to swing and I totally enjoyed acting like a kid again!! As Hayley gets older..I am begining to realize that one of the joys of having children is that it allows you to let go of the day to day responsibilities and have a little fun!! I love being able to take life not so seriously!! I hope you enjoy our pics from that fun day!

About Me

I live in GA with my husband of almost nine years and our two slittle girl. I am a stay at home mom and have found this job to be the hardest thing that I have ever done! I think that I struggle everyday, hoping that I am doing everything right and that they will grow up with ethics, morals and respect for herself and other people. I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. I also love to read and often rely on it to escape and keep my sanity.
